One month of love letters: Week 1
Today + every Friday for the next month, we welcome Estrella Azul to our blog- a devoted love letter writer who has vowed to love letter her world in one month.
Very much inspired by the “A Love Letter a Day” articles on MoreLoveLetters.com, I have decided to take June and make it my month of leaving love letters behind – every single day.
I’ve equipped my handbag with pens and some pretty stationery to have with me at all times. I started last Friday and will keep writing love letters (even on the spot, if so inspired), leaving them behind in various locations in my city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
They won’t be long. Only a few sentences. Or sometimes more than that. But no matter the word count, I think they might bring smiles to people’s faces. They might encourage them. And they might make people more aware of the present moment and how, in spite of hardships, life is wonderful!
With the MoreLoveLetters team’s blessing, every Friday I will share them here with you, too.
I am already one week into it, and am having so much fun! I can tell it will be an amazing month. Here are my love letters, and the places I’ve left them behind.
- In a book I flipped through
- On a bus seat on my way home from work
- For our waiter at a terrace where I’ve met up with friends
- In the park
- On the playground
- In someone’s flower patch outside their flat
- At a jewelry booth of the local handmade street fair
Hope you all have a fabulous, love-filled Friday!
