Love Letter, Lost & Found 24 Hours Later: Geelong, Australia

{First this happened…}

{And–not even 24 hours later– this happened.}

Received via email, August 19th:

“Yesterday I was at Deakin University Open Day when I saw a little folded piece of paper casually sitting in between two wood slats on a table. I didn’t realise what it was at first, but then I saw a small snippet of writing on it.

So as I walked past, I picked it up and opened it. Reading and walking at the same time, I read it aloud to my mum who was with me.

& nbsp;

It was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read and was exactly what I needed that day. I had been feeling totally overwhelmed by the amount of people¬†all condensed into the one place¬†who seemed brighter, more motivated and cooler than me. I was getting the doubtful thoughts that creep up on you, “Do you really know what you’re doing?”, “Are you sure you’ll be able to even get into any university, let alone this one?”, “Even if you did get in, you’d probably end up failing your course anyway.”

& nbsp;

But this wonderful letter really cleared my head, helped me just get on with it and feel a lot more optimistic about my future studies!

& nbsp;

Thank you so very much, anonymous sweetheart!”
