Your September Mission… Choose to accept it!
This fall, More Love Letters is raking in the season with 3…yes, you heard us right… 3 Love Letter Bundles scripted especially for strangers embarking on a “fresh start” of sorts.
We’re praising the new beginnings and sending well wishes to all those enduring hard times in this moment. Please, won’t you help us deliver the message of love loud & clear?
So what is a Love Letter Bundle?
Each month, we send out a “call for love letters” (just like this one) for an unsuspecting receiver (or in this case, receivers) in need of a little handwritten goodness. You will then have until the end of the month to send over a card or letter to the More Love Letters PO Box. We’ll bundle the letters and mail them all together to a lucky, lucky mailbox with an explanation note from MoreLoveLetters.com on top.
It’s simple. It takes 5 minutes. And really, what’s better than a monthly pinning of “heart to page” for someone who truly needs some love and syllables? So gather your friends, your students, your coworkers or church group, and take on the monthly mission together! New to letter writing? Get started here!
The following letter requests were requested by close friends of the recipients, they have written the descriptions you read below:
Meet Jessica
“Jessica is a recent college freshman, 800 miles from the only place she knew as home. In high school, she was the girl everyone looked to for advice, a smile, a hug, or a shoulder to cry on. She poured her love into the people she talked to and the organizations she was involved with. As she began to talk about the transition to college, she explained that’s what she felt – lost, lonely and alone. I couldn’t believe it… someone I viewed as one of the strongest women out there felt in the same shoes as I once did. Jessica deserves a letter to remind her of how she has the ability to impact the world and the people around her. To remind her that not everything in life is easy, but if she puts her mind to it – anything is possible.”
Meet Kayla
“One month ago, Kayla & one of her siblings were hit head by a drunk driver. The wreck was very severe but thankfully they both survived. Kayla broke several bones and she still recovering, as it will be a long journey. Kayla is soft spoken, but her heart is kind and full of compassion. I know I could turn to Kayla if I ever needed anything. I’m writing because Kayla needs some extra love. I want her to be reminded that she can let go of her worries and that she won’t be alone in any of this.”
Meet Wilson
“Wilson is a senior in college and due circumstances beyond his control he had to switch out of his dream major (nursing) and become a communications major. It is a lot of change to take on suddenly and he is handling it as well as can be expected. Wilson has been an amazingly supportive best friend and is the single best thing that has happened to me since coming to school. I just want him to know that he truly is a wonderful, amazing, special person and that those of us whose lives he touches are truly blessed.”

Wow. I had NO idea something like this existed. What an absolutely fantastic idea and service you’re providing! I always knew about ‘letters to troops’ but this is much more my style. I’ve been there and done the hard life, down on my luck thing before. It’s NO fun. I wish I’d had some of this, I can imagine it would have been absolutely wonderful.
I came this way from Sheaffer’s Facebook post. While I can’t guarantee prolific letter writing, I certainly plan to do what I can. I’ve got a slew of penpals I’ll tell about it, too! Hopefully soon you’ll get some letters from me and my piles of fountain pens
Mission accepted. Bring on the bundles! Wilson’s story hits close to home with me, as I’m in a similar situation. I’m sure he needs the love, and I’ll make sure that he has at least one letter, as will Jessica and Kayla. Woo!
My first mission accepted and written with love! I am loving being a part of something so grand that feels so right! Many thanks for the opportunity! <3 xoxo
