On the Ninth Day of Letter Writing…
Feel like you’re falling behind? Just now learning about the 12 Days of Love Letter Writing?
No worries, friend. Take off your coat. Have a seat. We’re so glad you’re here.
Whether you’ve been along for the ride since Day 1 of the challenge or this is your very first day digging out the holiday stamps, we’re so excited that you’re writing with us this season. You’re welcome to write to any of the 12 Day requests, even if the day has passed! The 12 Day marathon is super fun, but we get it - life happens. You might not stay on track every day, and that’s okay! Just be sure to slip your letters into the mailbox before December 17th. 📫
Thank you so much for being here today - it matters more than you know.
LAURA
Laura’s story, though not an easy one, reminds us that quiet heroes walk among us.
Laura has faced deep, lifelong mental health challenges, but she chose to turn her pain into purpose. She now works as a peer support specialist, sitting with others in their most challenging moments, offering the same gentleness and understanding she once needed herself.
She is the kind of friend who celebrates every small victory and sits with you through every setback. She has this gift of noticing when someone needs encouragement, even when they haven't said a word. She cheers for people so loudly that you can’t help but start believing in yourself the way she believes in you.
The holidays have always been difficult for Laura. But, even still, she doesn't close off. Instead, she bakes cookies in her kitchen, packs them into real tins, and delivers them around her community. It's her way of saying, "You matter. You are not alone." She chooses to give and radiate joy in the very season that challenges her the most.
Now it’s our turn to shine the light back on Laura and show her how deeply loved she is. Together, let’s show her how her light reaches farther than she realizes.
